Patient Portal
Please fill out the intake forms in the secure patient portal prior to your appointment. Forms can also be mailed to you upon request.
Appointments
All appointments are taking place via Telehealth using a secure, HIPAA compliant video platform. Please check with your insurance to make sure telehealth is covered. Appointments are generally 50 minutes long.
Insurance
Accepted insurances include Aetna, Carefirst/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, ClaimsBridge HPN, Johns Hopkins, Optum,
Tricare OON (Out Of Network only), United Healthcare, UMR, Medicaid, and Medicare. Please note that Medicare Advantage plans are not accepted. It is your responsibility to confirm your mental health coverage with your insurance company by asking these questions:
– Do I have outpatient mental health coverage?
– Is telehealth covered in my plan?
– Is there a mental health carve-out in my plan? (this is when an insurer contracts with a different company to cover mental health services).
– What is my copay?
– Do I have a deductible?
– How many visits per year do I get?
– Do I need a referral from my doctor?
– Can I see a therapist who is out of network, and what is the cost?
Self Pay/Good Faith Estimate
Self pay is also available if you do not wish to use your insurance or you do not have insurance. Self pay rates are as follows:
$200 for the first intake appointment
$195 for appt lasting 53-60 minutes
$190 for appt lasting 38-52 minutes
$160 for appt lasting 16-37 minutes
Cancellation Policy
If you do not attend your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $65 cancellation fee. Insurance will not pay for missed appointments.
Payment
Cash or credit card is required for payment at the time of service.
